Solution:

To find V_x and V_y, we will write Kirchhoff’s voltage law for two loops. (Forgot Kirchhoff’s voltage law?)

First loop:

Find Vx and Vy in the circuit solution

-12V-V_x-6V+4V=0

V_x=-14V

Second loop:

Find Vx and Vy in the circuit solution

-4V+6V+V_y=0

V_y=-2V
